Modular, inexpensive, and ultralight 2 person sleeping setup

While browsing reddit I came across this article detailing a sleeping setup that promised to be ultralight, inexpensive, modular, and large enough to fit at least two people. With ultralight and inexpensive, I was already sold.

The link on the post lead to the youtuber Bounds Unknown who sets up a tarp and bug net. While I enjoy the simplicity of this set up and its versatility, it is not incredibly inexpensive for the casual hiker. For an ultralight hiker, I can see this being an option.
